A: No worries. It plugs into the regular USB 2.0 port on your computer. This also makes it really easy to extend how far the NavAI is from your computer!
Q: The NavAI seems really warm to the touch. Is that normal?
A: It’s totally normal. The NavAI seems warm, but that just means the solid aluminum case is doing what it is supposed to do -- pulling the heat from inside to outside. There’s a lot of brainpower under that housing!
Q: How do I control the camera?
A: It’s easy. Download the free desktop control program for the NavAI from our website. The program can be used to virtually move your image using digital pan, tilt, and zoom commands, as well as setting up preset camera framing positions.
Using that same application, you can also adjust image quality to your preferences.
Q: How is it tracking me?
A: The NavAI uses advanced programming and heuristic algorithms to frame people in the camera’s field of view. This framing and the smoothness of the camera adjusting to the framing is what makes the experience seem so natural. We designed this camera to operates the way your eye does.
It’s paying attention to the people in the field of view and keeping track of what’s important. If there’s only a single person in the frame, the camera maintains optimum framing for that person. If multiple people are in the field of view, the camera processes that, then it includes all the people in the video output, reframing everyone almost instantaneously. That’s why we call it Natural Vision™.
