Eye tracking is much less accurate than actual eye trackers. Although a typical remote eye tracker (e.g., Tobii T60) is able to measure 0.5 degrees of viewing angle however, webcams have a much higher accuracy. webcam can produce an accuracy of 2-5 degrees, provided the user is not moving.
