A basic USB power supply is all it takes to do the trick. USB 2.0 cables can be extended to a length of 30 meters, or about the 98-foot mark. However, USB 3.0 and 3.1 cables are only extended up to 18 metres (about about 59ft). This is assuming that the original cable is in use.
