The 4K TV you have is the resolution that is 3,840×2,160 pixels. The majority of satellite, cable, streaming, gaming, Blu ray and other video content has a resolution of 1,920×1,080 pixels (which is known as 1080p and 1080i) or 1,280×720 (called 720p). The 4K resolution TVs are four times the amount of pixels than 1080p TVs.
