With digital cameras, things are a little more complex – 50mm is considered to be normal for full-frame cameras equivalent to 35mm on the APS. C, or sensors that have been cropped (to share an identical field of view). Therefore, anything larger that 50mm (full-frame) or 35mm (APS C) is considered to be a wide-angle lens.
