Pan tilt cameras or pan tilt zoom cameras appear similar to dome cameras and are also housed inside a dome made of hard shell that protects the camera and hides the camera’s location from the eyes of curious viewers. Cameras differ, though, in that they come with more capabilities, and can be used for remote direction as well as zoom control.
