To control your PTZ camera with our PTZ Controller software, you must first connect your PTZ camera with your computer. The PTZ camera has an RS485/422 port to plug in the control cable. For the computer, the RS232 port (serial port), so called COM port, is for connecting with the PTZ camera.

To control a PTZ camera using a PC, you need to download Remote PTZ software. This software can be found on the internet. To get started, download it here. Once installed, you can run it from your start menu. You will need to make certain settings. Make sure that you are using the correct baud rate and VISCA protocol. You should also set the COM port to port one through four.
